Bring your own keys
No server, no subscription. You supply your own AI provider API key. Keys, notes, and transcripts stay in your browser's local storage.
Educational · Interview practice
A browser extension and desktop app that help you rehearse for interviews. They transcribe your mock interview, spot likely questions, and suggest concise answers grounded in study notes you provide.
Works in
Prefer YouTube? Watch the demo there.
Free. Bring your own AI provider key — it never leaves your browser.
Prefer a native app? Download it for macOS, Windows or Linux.
The same copilot as a native app. Listens to system audio, so it also works with the Zoom, Teams, Webex and Meet desktop apps.
How it works
Everything runs in your browser. There is no backend to sign up for and nothing to configure beyond your own API key.
Add the extension, then paste an API key from a provider you already use. The key is stored in your browser's local storage.
Drop in the notes and PDFs you are revising from. Suggested answers are drawn from that material rather than invented.
Start a mock interview in Teams, Meet, Zoom (web) or Webex. It transcribes the conversation and spots the questions being asked.
Read back the transcript alongside the suggestions, see where you hesitated, and rehearse the answers in your own words.
What you get
No server, no subscription. You supply your own AI provider API key. Keys, notes, and transcripts stay in your browser's local storage.
Upload your own study notes and PDFs. Suggested answers are drawn from your material, not invented.
No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. Audio and text go only to the AI provider you configure.
When a screen is shared, it can scan what is on it and answer questions about code, diagrams and images.
Works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AssemblyAI, Deepgram and ElevenLabs. Use whichever you already hold a key for.
Built for mock interviews and practice. Recording a meeting may need everyone's consent and may be regulated where you live.
Bring your own keys
Pick one for transcription and one for answers, or use a single provider for both. You pay them directly at their own rates — Zapx Labs never sees a request.
Keys are entered once in the extension's settings and kept in local storage on your machine. Audio and text are sent only to the provider you configured, and to nobody else — the extension ships with no analytics, no telemetry and no backend of its own.
Mock Interview Copilot is an educational practice tool. Only use it in mock interviews, practice sessions, and meetings where transcription assistance is permitted, and obtain any consent required by the participants and by law in your jurisdiction.
